Share Together
The last piece of the puzzle is sharing together. At Wakefield, we take the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) seriously. We desire that everyone in our community, and throughout the world, hear the good news of Jesus Christ.
This is best accomplished through a variety of means. One way is through community evangelism. The members of Wakefield come together monthly and share Christ in our community. A few times a year, we participate in event evangelism such as in Fairs or prisons.
Another way is through personal evangelism. Periodically, the church leaders train the congregation in methods of personal evangelism. This includes developing a personal testimony (story) and simple approaches to sharing. We feel that every believer should be ready to share the hope that is within (1 Peter 3:15).
